How to launch CamStudio for the first time?

I am guessing that the answer to my question is a very simple one but here goes... I am trying to get CamStudio to run for the first time and am having little success. I downloaded the zip file to a folder that I set up and pulled out the camcodec.dll file and the camcodec.inf file and installed the camcodec.inf file but nothing happens. I do not have an icon to launch it anywhere on my pc. I know that I am missing something I just don't know what. I would appreciate any help.
