Why do guys.....?

Why do men decide that you are their girlfriend (exclusively) if you sleep with them but if (in their mind) decide it's a one night stand that's ok too. Shouldn't I at least be asked first? Why does the guy get to decide but girls are s if they decide it's only a one nighter (or ocional fling)?
