She's not ready for commitment because she's damaged. What should I do?

I met my girlfriend at a bar and we both thought it was a one night stand deal. But then the morning after I realized I'm her boss! She didn't want to get involved, but I pursued her and we started dating. I'll admit I have my issues (I moved across the country because my wife cheated on me with my best friend) but I feel like I'm ready to commit. I want to make a life with her and build her a house. But every time I show that I want a commitment, she seems to find a reason to back away. She has admitted that she has her issues. Her father left when she was 5 and her mother was a workaholic who always pushed for perfection. She's allowed to be messed up but I just love her so much, she just won't let me. She says she doesn't trust me, but I think she's just making it up in her head (sub-consciously, of course) to back out of a commitment. I don't want to push her into something she's not ready for, but I don't know how much longer I can wait for her to be ready...
