American Idol vs. The Voice?

Which do you prefer? So far, I'm finding The Voice fresh, interesting, and a bit more entertaining than American Idol. American Idol seems to be going downhill the past couple years, the singers' voices really just aren't superb, while I have heard some AMAZING singers on The Voice. What do you think?
