Electric bill 1220 Kw/h?

I recently got my electric bill and it says I was using 1220kw/h for the month of April. My bill came out to about 358$. This seems impossible because I have an average house with 3 people living in it. Normally the bill is around $80 at most, so this seems odd that it could jump to $358 in one month. I just wondered if anybody has any advice about what I should do?
