Can I somehow get Xbox live from my neighbors unsecured internet connection if I buy a wireless adapter?

as long as their connection is not encrypted, i know a couple of people that do this and it works fine, but you might get a lot weaker of a signal from them but it does work, just depends on how close you are, how strong their signal is, and how good your wireless adapter is. but it should work fine, just make sure its not encrypted
