Christians, could you please explain the idea of compulsory love?

In the bible, god says that we must love him, or we will be condemned to burn in hell forever. Do you find it hard to love him while he terrorizes you into doing it? If someone put a gun to your head and said "love me or I will kill you" would you have a problem with that (because that is essentially what the god of the bible is doing)? Don't give me any nonsense about free will, christians do not have it. Being threatened with ETERNAL torture if you do not comply in no way constitutes free will. And don't add any drivel about god not doing the condemning; if he is truly all powerful and all knowing, there is no way he can squirm out of that responsibility.
